Pray for Prahbudas Please

Prahbudas is one of our key people at Emma's school in Guntur, India.

His family has been upset with him for years for giving his life to serve God.

Please read this letter from Samuel and then see the pictures of him at the bottom.

I LOVE Prahbudas and wish I could be as faithful as him! Please pray for his situation.

Bro Jason, let me share with you about Prabhudass,
He has been facing some mental stress from his family. He was sick
for a couple of months ago.. most of his medical expenses are given by
us. His parents never bothered about him. Now, on Nov 9th, his only
younger brother got married.
Prabhudas has only one younger sister and only one younger brother.
His sister got married last year and now she is pregnent.
For his only younger brother's wedding, his parents did not buy him
new cloths. Wedding was conducted in Donakonda( 5 hours drive from
Guntur).. He does not have money to buy some new dress.
On Nov 7th, I gave him 1500 rupees and with that he bought a T Shirt
and a Blue Zeans and went to his brother's wedding.
HOw sad it was..?
His parents are not treating him properly.I understood that because
he is not working and making money, his parents are angry.. What to
do..?

Well.. I just spoke to him saying that let your family know that you
have comitted your life to God and they cant look at you for your
money.I told him that may he stand firm in serving God. Deepa says to
me that let Prabhudas do some work..
Bro Jason, India is not like USA. Our policies are different at
jobs place..
Once we join, we must be there from morning till night and even on
sunday
's we will be called for work.. Besides, payment will be monthly
once ( 1st week).
Less salaries and more work..

Ohhh, we need God's guidance for his life.
Now, he is able to do more at Emma's home and church activities..
So, pray for him more.
his mental stress effecting his physical body.
Iam here trying to encourage him in the Lord and I still try.

Bro, Iam attaching his brothers wedding pics 2, one is Prabhudass in
his blue T Shirt and he is standing before sheep in another pic.......

And in my case, last week, Deepa was sick( Throat Infection). She took
leave oneday..
And from sunday evening onwards, iam suffering from fever and I feel cold..
Ofcourse, weather is changed now..
Today, iam feeling better.
Oh iam attaching one street Gospel Meeting pic.. you can see those
group of people.. Most of them are hindus..........

I will try to be on online if God willing..Regards to your family.
With love and Prayers,
Yours Brother in the Lord,

Joy in Difficulty and Peace in Life

Last night my wife couldn't breathe and I had to take her to the ER. It made me think...what in the world would I do if something happened to her! Recently I had a Blue Cross Blue Shield Vacation (short hospital stay). My wife for the first time was faced with the thought of what would happen if something happened to me.

We of course come to the same conclusion. We simply trust God with all things.

If you know that God is over all, and knows you intimately and cares for His children, then what is there to worry about? He is good and carries us along according to His plan.

I have joy in difficulty because when I am faced with trouble, that is when God pulls me closer and seems to use those troubles to purify my heart. I want to have a pure heart, so I am happy to go through the trials.

While I go through trouble, He also fills me with a deep sense of calm and peace. I am never more peaceful than while going through trials.

When life is "normal" I carry on through life very focused on me and what makes me happy and what goals I would like to pursue.

But in trouble my mind is more focused on Christ and trusting more.

Over the last 15 years I have studied life and have found that we as people give God little thought. We may give Him lip service, but we don't pursue Him and spend little time trying to KNOW Him. We just float along through life like a dead fish floating down a stream.

Let me encourage you (and remind myself) to LIVE life....pursue the One who is good. Seek the LORD with all your heart. Pick up your Bible. Read it, know it and you will know HIM. TRUE peace comes when you realize life depends more on GOD than it does you.... Isn't that comforting to know?
