You Just Never Know!

My friend at church had his daughter get very sick, very fast....suddenly throwing up blood and diahrea with blood. I got this email from him the church this morning.

Aubrey is still not improving. She will receive a blood transfusion this morning. Keep praying hard!

This is from Bill this morning:

I am crying while trying to get this out, so sorry if doesn't make sense.

Aubrey had her surgery yesterday to put in a port for dialysis and a central line for certain fluids and to draw blood from. Her levels are not good and she is still critical. Every time they come in to poke her or look at her she cries and looks at me and I have a hard time dealing with that, so I leave the room. I try to be strong for Karen but it is hard at times. I can't stop crying.

I want to thank everyone for prayers, gifts etc.. You can call and leave messages on voicemails, they are helpful and we always do not get to the phone.

I am grateful to everyone who has been coming and praying etc.. Words will not be able to express the outpouring of love and concern. It has meant so much to Karen and I to hug and see people and get phone calls.

My prayer is that God will richly bless and return the care and love we have experienced.

Just continue to pray for Aubrey's recovery. The specialist put it this way: There is nothing we can really give her or do to make her better. It just takes time and monitoring. It is like chasing a truck with things blowing out the back. You just have to pick them up and go on. Watching Aubrey fight and take all this is amazing.

We love our church family so much for reaching out.

Love Bill/Karen
